I recently illustrated a couple of t-shirts. I was inspired by Navajo patterns and wanted to give them a modern twist. I got a hand-full printed at Das Tshirt Automat in Fitzroy on their direct to garment printer.
I thought i would share some of the cushion covers I made from hessian coffee sacks. I really love the designs and typography on the sacks and decided to make something with them. I had to learn a few basic stitching techniques but they were very easy to make.
The last few months I have been designing eclectic furniture from freight pallets. The most recent being a little table. I have also made a double bed base and plant step. Click read more to see them all.
Here is a little process book of a self promotion project I recently produced. It included a mini folio, C.V, business card and letter head. I used a custom made rubber stamp, recycled kraft paper, board and button and string enveloped as part of the branding. I tried some new finishing effects with the stamp and stitching of binding for the folio. It was a lot of work but well worth the finished product. You can see the final product here
